Madonna has finally addressed accusations Lady GaGa ripped off her iconic song Express Yourself in last year's (11) anthem Born This Way, admitting she "recognised" the tune and thought the similarities were "interesting".
The Poker Face hitmaker came under fire following the release of the lead track of her second album after critics and fans pointed out the song's melody is almost identical to that of the Material Girl's classic.
Gaga claimed she had received the Queen of Pop's "complete support" for Born This Way, and now Madonna has finally voiced her opinion on the tune.
She tells Newsweek, "I thought, this is a wonderful way to redo my song. I mean, I recognised the chord changes. I thought it was... interesting."
