Madonna is back at the top of the U.S. charts - thanks to the cast of hit TV show GLEE.
The music from the all-Madonna episode of the show, which aired last week (20Apr10), has been released as a soundtrack album - and it has beaten off all competition to rule the U.S. album charts.
Glee: The Music, The Power of Madonna debuts at number one on the new Billboard 200 countdown with 98,000 sales - more than 20,000 ahead of another top soundtrack - AC DC's Iron Man 2 - which debuts at four. It's the first time in the chart's 50-plus-year history that two soundtracks have simultaneously debuted in the top five.
Lady Antebellum's Need You Now is on the rise again, moving up a spot to number two, and last week's number one - My World 2.0 by Justin Bieber - falls to three on the new chart.
