Madonna has requested 20 phone lines in her dressing room on her MDNA tour.

She has insisted one the high number of international telephone connections so she can keep in touch with her loved ones.

While daughter Lourdes, 15, is working in the wardrobe department for her gigs and son Rocco, 11, features on stage, she also has adopted children David and Mercy, both six.

Madonna has been travelling with a 200-strong entourage including 30 bodyguards, personal chefs, a yoga instructor and an acupuncturist on the sold out dates.

The 53-year-old also has a portable dry cleaner and has asked for her space to be decorated with lilies and roses - with their stems trimmed to exactly six inches - plus the area must be draped in a special fabric.

Her team have also removed the furniture from the rooms and filled them with the singer's own property to give it a homely feel.

A source told the Daily Star: ''Madonna has probably the longest list of requirements of any of the world's music stars. She expects things to be just right or it puts her off her stage show.''
