Madonna thinks she was "quite unfair" to ask daughter Lourdes to play a part in 'W.E.'.
The 'Give Me All Your Luvin' singer had the 15 year old play a cameo role in the historical movie as the young version of modern day character Wally, but she admits the youngster was "dragged in" at the last minute and ended up being cut from the final edit.
She said: "There was a scene where she played Wally as a young girl. And I just kind of dragged her in at the last minute.
"It was quite unfair of me what I did and what I asked her to do. But she was really great and then I ended up cutting her out of the film, ruthless I know.
"I said, 'Sorry babe, you're on the cutting room floor.' She took it like a champ."
The movie has received lukewarm reviews since its release, and Madonna does not think it will lead on to her making larger movies.
She told MTV News: "I'm not a blockbuster kind of a girl, I don't think. But I do love the idea of making a sweeping epic romance."
