Beloved Abba musical MAMMA MIA! is to end its run in Las Vegas next summer (08) after scoring 2,300 performances in over five years at the Mandalay Bay Theatre. The production is the longest-running and most successful full-length Broadway musical ever to play Sin City. Meanwhile, the Russian-language production of the musical, scored by ABBA stars BENNY ANDERSSON and BJORN ULVAEUS, recently opened in Moscow, Russia and the touring production is popular throughout the world with 11 current productions playing in seven languages. Mamma Mia! is still a hit in London and on Broadway, and there are no plans to close those shows.
