It is almost impossible to establish the truth or untruth of this claim. I would wonder why this encounter has not been revealed earlier. This claim, if untrue and made with the hope of financial gain, will have serious consequences for the author and she would be well advised to reveal the truth as soon as possible. Marilyn holds a special place in the hearts of millions, and while she was human and certainly not an Angel, in death Marilyn should be granted the dignity of truthfulness.
