Marlon Jackson stormed off the set of a U.S. TV interview on Tuesday (24Jul12) after an emotionally-charged discussion about his mother Katherine following days of conflicting reports about her whereabouts and wellbeing.
The 82 year old matriarch's nephew Trent Jackson reportedly filed a missing persons report over the weekend (21Jul12) after Katherine's grandchildren were refused contact with her as she rested up under doctors' orders with daughter Rebbie in Arizona.
Jermaine Jackson claimed his mother was "fine" but police carried out an investigation after his niece Paris and Katherine's attorney challenged his version of events on Sunday (22Jul12).
Officials in Pima County confirmed on Monday (23Jul12) that Katherine was OK after speaking to her, and a family photograph of the matriarch smiling at the camera during a game of Uno over the weekend emerged online, but Paris later told her Twitter.com followers she still hadn't been in contact with her grandmother.
Now her uncles Jackie and Marlon have gone public with their own fears for their mother, revealing they haven't spoken to her for over a week.
In an interview for U.S. news show The Insider, Marlon reveals, "We've been told that our mother is safe. She's doing well. But we have not spoken with her. We have not talked with her and I don't know where my mother is."
Marlon then openly sobbed on camera as he added angrily, "All I know is she is in Arizona, and whatever doctor is saying I can't talk to my mother you call me!"
Visibly-upset Marlon then apologised as he stormed off the set in tears.
In a separate clip from the TV interview, reporter Kevin Frazier asked him, "Who is doing this?", to which Marlon replies, "I'm not going to go into all that... All I know is that there is somebody who made the decision that my mother cannot talk to me and whoever that person is they're going to answer to me because I'm going to see my mother and I'm going to bring her home."
Brother Jackie adds, "We would love to talk to her and speak with her. The children haven't spoken to my mom and whenever my mom goes anywhere she always calls back and talks to the kids, Michael's kids... At this present time we haven't spoken to her. It's been nine or 10 days. We hear that she's somewhere in Arizona but at this time we haven't spoken with her."
The full interview aired in the U.S. on Tuesday, a day after police were called to the Calabasas, California home Katherine shares with her late son Michael's three kids following reports of a physical assault on the grounds. The cops determined that an altercation had taken place between members of the family, but no arrests were made.
Surveillance video footage leaked to media outlets shows Michael's kids arriving at the property on Monday, followed by their uncle Randy and aunt Janet. The driveway encounter appears to be cordial and friendly, but both Janet and Randy seem to be recording the meeting on their cellphones.
Katherine Jackson's lawyer Sandra Ribera has confirmed to WENN there was a stand-off between members of the Jackson family at the Calabasas property.
The latest showdown comes after a weekend of Jackson clan confusion surrounding the whereabouts of matriarch Katherine.
Paris Jackson responded to the missing persons report on Sunday and still seemed far from happy on Monday after her uncle Jermaine assured fans that his mother was well.
Even after police officials in Arizona had confirmed that Katherine was OK after speaking with her, Paris took to Twitter on Monday night and posted, "8 days and counting. Something is really off, this isn't like her at all... I wanna talk directly to my grandmother!!" - referring to the fact she hasn't spoken to Katherine in over a week.
This comes after Jermaine went public with a tweet on Monday, in which he claimed the Sheriff's Department had "officially dropped the case that never was, confirming Mother is with family and ending this farcical false alarm".
On Tuesday morning, his angry niece took to Twitter.com and added, "9 days and counting... so help me God I will make whoever did this pay."
But police spokesman Steve Whitmore insists the authorities have no reason to suspect foul play. He says, "She (Katherine) emphatically denied the allegations, and deputies determined she was in good health."
Whitmore also told U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight that Lost Hills police officers in California have been keeping an eye on Katherine and the Jacksons since April (12) when a business associate reported the 82 year old was being "emotionally and financially abused" by members of the family.
