Matt Lucas Turns Coach For New Nike Advertsby Contributor | 18 March 2008
Matt Lucas has been given the chance to make one of his childhood dreams come true when he had the opportunity to coach his beloved Arsenal.
The LITTLE BRITAIN funnyman, who is a season-ticket holder at the clubs London-based Emirates stadium, has written a series of scripts for the new Nike adverts in which he plays an aggressive cockney coach, reports the Sun.
Arsenal stars CESC FABREGAS and PHILIPPE SENDEROS also took part in the adverts.
"Matt was decked out in a tracksuit barking orders at Cesc. He was really getting stuck into his part playing the loud-mouth coach," a source told the newspaper.
"It looked like he was living out a childhood fantasy."
Meanwhile, Matt's comic partner David Walliams was the victim of a burglary while he was presenting BBC's Sports Relief show over the weekend.
Thieves raided the actor's London home as he took part on the live telethon, talking about his well-publicised charity swim across the Gibraltar Straits with rower James Cracknell.
It is not yet known what was stolen.
