Matthew Mcconaughey was spurred on to organise his wedding to Camila Alves when she handed him an invitation to their big day.
Camila Alves gave Matthew Mcconaughey an invitation to his own wedding.
The couple - who got engaged last December - married on June 9 at their home in Texas and the 'Magic Mike' star admits he was spurred on to start arranging the nuptials following a huge hint from the Brazilian beauty.
He said: ''She handed me an invitation to my own wedding. That's one way to kick-start a man!''
Although he is excited about the nuptials, Matthew - who has kids Levi, four, and two-year-old Vida with Camila, while the couple are set to welcome their third child into the world next year - was determined not to have a bachelor party before he married, much to the disappointment of his friends.
He added in an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''I had some friends who wanted me to have a bachelor party. But I said, 'What am I going to do at a bachelor party? Watch you guys have fun and then foot the bill?' ''
The 42-year-old Hollywood star admits he has changed a lot since the early days of his career because of his family responsibilities.
He said: ''I've definitely grown, because when you have a family, there's more to live for.''
