Maurice Sendak Fans Invited To Pay Respects At Memorial

Fans of legendary author Maurice Sendak have been invited to apply for tickets to attend his memorial service in New York next week (begs11Jun12).
The Where the Wild Things Are writer died last month (May12) and he is to be remembered at the Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Tuesday morning (12Jun12).
One hundred tickets to the service have been made available to members of the public, whose requests must be sent via email.
Sendak passed away at the age of 83 due to complications from a recent stroke.
