Maxim Hot 100 List: Is Stephen Colbert Sexier Than Miley Cyrus?
Proof that even the compilers of endless lists rating the looks of women can have a laugh, political satirist Stephen Colbert has managed to make the Top 100 of Maxim Magazine's Hot 100 List, coming in at - of course - number 69. Surely this has to be the least funny "satire" of all time?
Maxim explained his inclusion thus, "Democracy isn't always pretty: Sometimes it's downright handsome. With a massive write-in vote campaign, the Colbert Nation proved they're not only loyal but also incredibly horny," a statement which surely brings into question the intelligence of "the Colbert Nation," we reckon, but there we go.
All of this could only be possible of course if Colbert was in fact a woman. Thankfully The Huffington Post had recently declared him an "honorary woman" - screw science, ey - presenting him with a plaque that read "In special recognition of his continued efforts to bring to light the issues, both real and imagined, that face women, and generously putting a male voice to their struggles, which is far louder and therefore more convincing than a female one, Stephen Colbert, with the approval of most of the women around the office, is conferred upon the title of 'Honorary Woman' with all the honors, privileges and nearly the same rights as men." Colbert beat the likes of Miley Cyrus and Sofia Vergara in this year's list.
