Sir Paul Mccartney - Mccartney Brushes Off Album Title Critics

Sir Paul McCartney has shrugged off criticism of his new album title Kisses On The Bottom because the Beatles' name was also mocked when the band first launched.
The veteran singer released the record this week (begs06Feb12) and the title has been subject of much ridicule, with country star Brad Paisley even taking aim at the name.
He declared in a post on his Twitter page, "It's only February, but Sir Paul is an absolute lock for worst album title of the year. Actually, maybe all time... It's like he's kidding. He's got to be kidding. Tell me he's changing the title back to the real one, right? Oh then how we'll laugh and laugh."
However, MCCartney is unrepentant about the album name, telling Bbc Radio 2, "I remembered people really sort of cringing when we told them we were called The Beatles. Everyone went 'Ughh, creepy-crawly insects!'
"Then with (1967 album) Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band everyone went 'What?!' I'm getting that feeling again - if we ever need to explain it you just say 'kisses on the bottom of a letter'."
