Sir Paul Mccartney - Mccartney Cleared Over Wedding Noise Complaints

Sir Paul McCartney and his new wife Nancy Shevell will face no further action over their noisy wedding reception on Sunday (09Oct11) after complying with orders from council officials.
The Beatles legend married American heiress Shevell at a registry office in London and the reception took place in a marquee outside the star's mansion in the city's St John's Wood.
Guests including Ronnie Wood and Kate Moss partied as MCCartney sang during the bash, before superproducer Mark Ronson DJ'd late into the night.
But the noise levels infuriated the musician's neighbours, who called officials at Westminster City Council to complain, and a noise abatement team arrived at MCCartney's home around 1.30am local time to tell the host to turn down the music.
MCCartney complied but officials monitored the event until its conclusion - and now they've decided to take no further action over the complaints.
Andrew Ralph, Westminster's Head of Noise and Licensing, tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "A complaint was received about an address in St John's Wood, officers visited and the volume was reduced on request. No further action is being taken."
