Mccartney Fires Back At Heart Surgery Story

Sir Paul McCartney has hit back at reports he underwent a secret heart operation in 2007 in an effort to reassure family, friends and fans who believed the rumours. In a post on his website, the former Beatle explains he rarely bothers to deny media reports because "most of it is completely inaccurate". But the singer/songwriter has opted to speak out about his reported health crisis after spending the New Year (08) telling his loved ones he never underwent a coronary angioplasty last month (Dec07), as rumoured. MCCartney writes, "People are ringing and texting me saying, 'Are you OK?' And I hadn't seen the report, so I was puzzled by so many enquiries about my health. So I think it's a good time to put this rumour to rest. "What happened was, over a year ago during a routine medical examination, there was a minor irregularity which I needed to have tests for and which I have now been assured is completely fine. "The media have only just recently reported an exaggerated version of this and that is why people have been asking me if I am OK. So this is where the story has come from. The media reports have, as usual, completely distorted the story. "I'm happy to say that I feel great and I have passed my most recent medical with flying colours."

We are all EXTREMELY delighted to hear straight from Sir Paul's mouth that he's in good physical condition - especially heartwise! We, his adoring fans, hope the only "heart situations" he encounters from now on will be giving his heart to a loving, caring, generous woman who will proudly stand by his side until death do they part!! Hopefully, after the "Heater fiasco" ends, he will have learned a lesson on choosing the right woman. Sir Paul, next time try someone a bit more mature, closer to your own age, and not a money grubber or former prostitute!!! You deserve only the best!!!

I'm happy to hear he is doing okay. Why do i feel like it was Heather who started this rumour only to try to make Sir Paul look bad? In her deluded mind she thought it would work to her benefit. Yes I agree Sir Paul needs to find him a nice girl, and not one who crawled out of the woodwork like a bug/parasite.

Yes, I was so happy when I went on his website and read the good news in his own words. You know, Beatles fan brings up an interesting point. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if that low life Heather did start this rumor. Anyway, I won't waste any time ranting on about her as she is not worth mentioning at all. I wish Sir Paul continued health and happiness.

The media loves to jump onto stories that involve famous individuals. In the very recent past, so many of our television programs have been over-saturated with "All Briney -- All the Time!"Now, we're dealing with "All Heath -- All the Time!"It's a shame that rumors such as those involving Paul McCartney's supposed heart surgury are given legs by tabloids and in other forms of irresponsible media.
