Mel C "can't wait" for 'Spice Girls: The Musical'.

The singer says she and her former bandmates Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel B, and Emma Bunton, are excited about seeing their story being turned into a stage show, particularly because it gives them the chance to see more of each other while it is being written.

Mel said: "Whenever we're all in town we always meet up, and we're going to be spending loads of time together when we start working on the musical.

"We're all really excited. We want it to be a fictional story but there'll be lots of our anecdotes too."

The 36-year-old singer also revealed she is constantly amazed by the generosity Victoria - who is now a fashion designer - shows her.

Speaking to us at a party in London, Mel told the Daily Star newspaper: "Victoria's done incredibly well. I love all of the dresses she's designed. They're stunning.

"I asked if I could wear one tonight and she sent me eight! Seriously, eight. She's so sweet like that."
