Rockers Metallica are considering heading out on tour with music veteran Lou Reed to promote their joint album.
The Enter Sandman hitmakers shocked fans in June (11) when they announced they have been laying down tracks with the former Velvet Underground star at their studio in California.
Now the band's bassist Robert Trujillo has revealed they are eyeing the possibility of hitting the road with Reed for a series of concerts.
He tells Mojo magazine, "Kirk (Hammett) and I saw Lou Reed in Paris last week, standing up, doing his thing - he's a tough guy. He's got a lot of bravado. And we do what we do. Let's take this to the stage. I think Metallica fans will actually enjoy this body of music performed."
