Singer Michael Buble is convinced voice-enhancing technology is ruining music because fans don't want to hear completely perfect performances.
The Canadian crooner argues that a song doesn't have to be totally mistake-free to be memorable, and claims his hero Frank Sinatra didn't always deliver a flawless vocal - but still managed to make an impression on fans.
He tells Britain's Daily Telegraph, "We've been ruined by Auto-Tune. Our ears have become far more sensitive to pitch and to perfection. It's weird. I can go and listen to my favourite Sinatra records and he's human: he's not always on, he can be flat. But that was good, because the performance was there...
"I remember seeing Neil Young doing this big charity song, and the producer said to him, 'You're a little pitchy.' And he went, 'That's my sound, man!' That's my sound!"
