Michael Jackson - Michael Jackson Audio Heard

Tapes of Michael Jackson discussing his plans to build a children's hospital were aired in court today (05.10.11).

Prosecutors played the clip - which was significantly longer than the snippet broadcast during opening arguments in the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray in Los Angeles Superior Court last week - when forensic computer investigator Stephen Marx took the stand, with the witness telling the jury it was recorded in May 10, 2009.

In the audio, Michael is rambling and slurs his words, but is heard telling Murray - who is accused of administering the lethal dose of Propofol which killed the star in June 2009 - he wants to accomplish something that The Beatles and Elvis Presley did not.

He was heard saying: "That will be remembered more than my performances. My performance will be up there helping my children and always be my dream.

"I love them. I love them because I didn't have a childhood ... I feel their pain. I feel their hurt. I can deal with it."

The recording ends after Murray asked his patient if he was OK when his voice trailed off, to which the star replied: "I am sleeping."

Mr. Marx, an investigator with the Drug Enforcement Administration, had been tasked with examining the doctor's iPhone and testified that he found emails and attachments sent to Murray containing medical records filed under Omar Arnold, an alias of Michael.

He also said his findings showed the physician had been sending communications in The Hours before the singer's death.

The witness also told the court he had retrieved a voicemail message on the phone from Frank DiLeo, Michael's former manager, five days before the 'Billie Jean' star's death. In it, Dileo says the singer had an "episode" the previous night, but did not elaborate further, except to say: "I think you need to get a blood test on him. We've got to see what he's doing."

Also taking the stand today was Sally Hirschberg, a medical sales representative.

Sally told the court her company, Seacoast Medical Supply, declined an order from Murray for an infusion IV set because his credit card was rejected.

She said: "The account, I believe, had a credit card declined and so the paper work was pulled from the warehouse prior to being ordered or shipped."

Sally also said they refused to send equipment to an address in Santa Monica - which was The Apartment of the doctor's girlfriend Nicole Alvarez - because it was a private residence.

Murray denies involuntary manslaughter but faces four years in prison if convicted.
