Michael Jackson Rented Home Attracts Buyer - Comments and Message Board

Mr. Jackson "self-administered" Propofol? For goodness sakes, please get your facts straight!!! The Propofol was administered by Dr. Conrad Murray, who is currently in jail having been convicted of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson. This is the type of shoddy and misleadingjournalism which Mr. Jackson was a victim of his entire life, and even after his death journalists STILL cannot get the facts right about him!

While I appreciate that Contact Music actually made the decision to begin this article, respectfully, instead of referring to Michael Jackson's rented mansion as his "death house", it is beyond comprehension that they would simply "cut and paste" the contents of TMZ's article which contains this asinine paragraph: "Real estate sources told TMZ that the buyer - who has been trying to sell the home for three years - and the seller are in the process of negotiating to see if they can come to a reasonable agreement." What? The buyer? was trying to sell the home for three years? Does anybody in the tabloid swamp EVER bother to check their composition? NO! All they care about is ratings and money! Oh, and just to jog your pitiful memory....Contrad Murray is sitting his pathetic @$$ in jail for MANSLAUGHTER in the death of his one and only patient. HE, not Jackson, administered the fatal dose of propofol and then nonchalantly left Michael, alone and helpless, in the room so he could chat up his harem for more than a half hour on his cell phone. Michael Jackson stopped breathing!!! Had he immediately given him oxygen instead of incorrectly doing CPR and WAITING for more than 10 minutes to call 911, Michael Jackson would be here and people all over the world would STILL be talking about his O-2 This Is It Concerts.I am so sick and tired of sloppy, lying, deceitful gutter snipes like you tabloid note-takers misrepresenting Michael Jackson. You should all be sued and forced to live on dry bread and dirty water for the rest of you putrid lives.Just outrageous!

If whoever wrote this shame of an article doesn't know that Michael Jackson was killed by the negligence and greed of Conrad Murray, he or she is as good a journalist as Murray is a doctor, and deserves to be put in jail as well for journalistic fraud.

'… passing away ...afer a self-administered dose of the prescription drug Propofol' What? Clearly ContactMusic has self-administered a whopping dose of lazy, slipshod reporting and selective amnesia. You could shift the blame to TMZ as your source, but the responsibility for what you print is entirely yours. The arrest, trial, jury deliberation conviction and sentencing of DR. CONTRAD MURRAY for involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson was covered by every major, minor and 'let's pretend' media outlet in the world. Were you asleep? If you write about music as carelessly as you write about news, better fold your tent and move on. But, before you go, kindly correct the error as a parting gift to your readers.

Michael did NOT self-administer the Propofol. His fingerprints were not on the equipment concerned. This was the scenario proposed by Conrad Murray's defense team, but there was no evidence to suggest it was true. Please do NOT print unsubstantiated stories as facts. Michael's children and his fans deserve better than that. The person responsible for Michael's death through his negligence is in jail.

The media in general, and in particular the gutter press, are patently unable and unwilling to achieve even minimal standards of accuracy and ethics in their articles, and this article is a prime example of flagrant disregard for facts. Following the televised trial and conviction of Dr Murray, the entire world knows that Mr Jackson was the victim of manslaughter at the hands of Dr Murray, that Murray is currently serving 4 years in prison for this crime, and his medical licence has been revoked.Your publication is fast becoming an object of ridicule as it stoops to ever-new lows in desperate pursuit of readers. Have you not yet realised that readers are increasingly turning away in droves from your type of sensationalized, inaccurate, insulting type of reporting.

I guess the LA Coroner's Office, the Coroner himself, the LA District Attorneys Office, Judge Pastor, Dr. Steven Shafer and 12 jurors would be quite surprised to learn that this anonymous writer determined all by him/her self that Jackson self administered the propofol that caused his death. Either the writer is oblivious to the six week trial that occured a few short months ago...or...is well aware of the outcome and simply decided to print an obviously incorrect statement. Shaking my head at the stupidity/audacity exhibited here.

What!? Self-administered dose? Why do these comments keep rearing their ugly heads. Didn't they watch the trial of Conrad Murray, who was convicted of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson and sent to prison for four years? The prosecution withdrew their defence that he had self-administered after easxperts gave evidence that it was impossible. Anything to besmirch the name of this great man as was the case with that private letter in the auction which makes one wonder why it got there and how did Lisa Marie know it was there to ask for its removal. Suspicious minds. Michael Jackson's nickname was Applehead. not that disgusting unpleasant one; planted? How do we know it was genuine anyway?

This information is from TMZ...oh, I get it. Michael Jackson fans will come and post comments on the inaccuracies being reported. Can you explain,(1) "Real estate sources told TMZ that the buyer - who has been trying to sell the home for three years..."Please explain how a "buyer" is trying to "sell" the home?(2) "...Michael lived there before passing away in his bedroom in June 2009, after a self-administered dose of the prescription drug Propofol."Please explain why Dr. Conrad Murray was sentenced to four years in prison for involuntary manslaughter in the death of Jackson if he "self administered" propofol? I would think that after Murray's televised trial in 2011, you guys would at least get the story right. This is lazy, shameful tabloid reporting. When reporting, if you don't know the facts, please research and get the story straight before hitting the send button.

Very interesting - but I'm afraid not accurate. Michael Jackson did not die of a self-administered dose of Propofol. I'm sure both the author of this article and its readers will well remember that his Doctor, Conrad Murray, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter after HE injected Jackson with a lethal dose of the anesthesia. I sincerely hope this is just an unfortunate mistake and this piece of mis-information will be amended without delay. Contact Music needs to pay more attention to detail - this slip-up does nothing for your credibility as a news outlet!

What is wrong with you people at TMZ? "Self-administered"?????? Did you not watch the Murray trial? Did you not hear that he was found guilty? Did you not listen to or read about the evidence? Please correct your article! There was NO EVIDENCE to support the theory that Mr. Jackson self-administred Propofol. Even if you are a tabloid news outlet, please at least get the "after-the-fact" facts correct.

I insist that you change your article so that it includes the FACT that Conrad Murray administered the fatal dose of propofol and is currently convicted of manslaughter as he sits in jail for 4 years. What kind of publication is this? Tabloid rags publish stories with made up facts...guess I just answered my own question.

Conrad Murray sits in jail for the murder of Michael Jackson! Murray was convicted of manslaughter six months ago. What do you mean "self admnistered dose of propofol"? PLEASE REWRITE THIS ARTICLE STATING THAT MICHAEL JACKSON WAS THE VICTIM OF A HOMOCIDE. And at the hands of a "doctor" in whom he put his faith and trust. The author of this article is obviously a fan of FICTION!

I would ask that whoever wrote this article, that you go back to what you learned in journalism school (if you even attended) about the Journalism Code of Ethics. Your statement about Michael Jackson self-administering propofol is blatantly sensationalistic and headline grabbing. I would respectly request that you take a step back and do your research on what took place. If you watched the trial at all, you would have seen that Conrad Murray was charged and convicted on Involuntary Manslaughter for his part in Mr. Jackson's passing. Murray is the one who administered the drug in addition to his negligence in staying with and caring for his patient. If you would have listened to the various doctors testify, you would have heard that it was basically impossible for self-administer the drug because of the state that it puts the patient in after injection. You are supposed to be a journalist; but I see that you follow the path of the rest of the tabloid reporters who just want to get your name out there for the entire world to see. I sincerely am sorry to see people choose this path as we all have a choice in what we do in life. I choose integrity, how about you?

How is it your writers are so uninformed? Michael Jackson did not administer the Propofol that killed him. A greedy "medical doctor" described as "having and imperial air about him" who played god and Russian Roulette by administering a dangerous medication (unprecedented) night after night to "treat" insomnia in a home setting, without any emergency equipment, with an empty oxygen tank and without proper CPR equipment or training. That doctor is serving time for manslaughter. Why do you not get the facts? Oh, that's right; you're tabloid entertainment and you make it up as you go along.

Wow! I see you corrected your "self administered" LIE pretty quickly. Good choice, seeing as there is readily available court testimony from a highly publicized trial that can easily prove you "couldn't care less" about publishing factual, accurate information.

#1, Michael Jackson did not die "after a self-administered dose of the prescription drug Propofol." If that were the case, his physician Dr. Conrad Murray would not be in fail for manslaughter in the inappropriate use of that drug to help his patient with insomnia.#2, no personal art of effects of Michael Jackson's were sold from this home--only furniture he used, which generated interest for that reason. Please make corrections in this article to accurately reflect the facts.

I don't know who wrote this article but they clearly don't like Michael. The quote that the prospective buyer could care less that Michael lived there, this garbage that Michael self administered the propofol that killed him (somebody better let the jury know that put Conrad Murray in jail) are negative and untruthful. Shame on you.
