Michelle Williams - Michelle Williams "Felt Trapped" Getting Over Heath Ledger
Michelle Williams has opened up about the death of her former partner and father of her child Matilda, Heath Ledger, in a new interview conducted not long before the actress was honoured at the weekend's Golden Globe Awards. Triumphing to win Best Actress In A Musical Or Comedy for her role in the Marilyn Monroe biopic-of-sorts 'My Week With Marilyn,' Williams star couldn't be much higher at the moment, the result of hard work ever since first really making a name for herself in the US teen drama series 'Dawson's Creek' between 1997 and 2003.
Williams spoke to GQ shortly before the awards, reflecting on the death of Ledger, who died this month four years ago and how she coped with his death, grasping on "Moments that were strung like beads on a thread...and they were very far apart from each other. I mean, it sounds so silly, but a just-right cup of tea. I spent a lot of time taking baths. A lot of tea and baths-double warm."
What she hadn't prepared for though was coping with her grief in front of the press "It was making me crazy. I felt like I was going crazy. It was too much-trying to deal with what had happened and trying to deal with what was at our doorstep. I just felt trapped."
