Miley Cyrus' 'Big Bang' music video is to be turned in to a feature film.

The 18-year-old singer and actress's mother Tish Cyrus has been in talks with veteran Hollywood producer Suzanne Todd - who was behind hits such as 'Alice in Wonderland' and the 'Austin Powers' franchise - to make the full-length movie, which Miley hopes to star in.

In the music video, Miley is seen getting up close and personal with actor Kevin Zegers in a series of romantic vignettes that Blur fantasy and reality.

Antonina Armato from Rock Mafia, who produced the song and music video, recently tweeted about a meeting she had with Tish and Suzanne.

She wrote: "Just had a Meeting with Tish Cyrus and Suzanne Todd for "Big Bang" To be made into a Movie!!! (sic)"

The writer and producer also confirmed plans for the movie to E! News, describing the project as "epic".

The pop star is currently filming sorority-themed comedy 'So Undercover' in New Orleans.
