Famed comic book writer Frank Miller almost quit Hollywood for good after his experience working on the screenplays for RoboCop 2 + 3. The 300 comic book writer worked on the 1990 and 1993 movies, but interference from the film studio drove him away. He recalls, "There was a lot of interference in the writing process. It wasn't ideal. "After working on the two Robocop movies, I really thought that was it for me in the business of film." Miller is currently working on his solo directing debut The Spirit - after co-directing 2005's Sin City with Robert Rodriguez.
