Mischa Barton wants her clothing line to be affordable yet "amazing".

The former 'O.C.' star - who already has her own range of handbags - is to release a collection next year and she wants it to appeal to young women who want to look good without breaking the bank.

She said: "My line is going to reach women in their teens, 20s and 30s who want to be fashionable but an affordable price. It doesn't have to be deadly expensive to get amazing clothes."

As well as releasing her own clothing line, Mischa says she has finally accepted the way she looks after years of feeling pressure to be skinny.

The 24-year-old star told Britain's Tatler magazine: "My character on 'The O.C.' was fit, she had to look great, she was that skinny rich bitch and I was right under the scrutiny of the paparazzi and it affected me more than I let on.

"Of course you want to be strong. You want to be, like, 'Oh I don't give a f**k what they say about me. I don't care if they're saying that I look a bit pudgy right now or that I'm too skinny.' What is going to be perfect for these people? You have to come to the conclusion that there is no perfect. When are they actually going to be, like, 'Right, so she's figured it out?' Never."
