The contestants of the TV fashion design contest, Project Runaway faced an unusual challenge in the latest episode to air in the U.S. More used to designing for catwalk models, this time, they were faced with a slightly different conundrum: to design a cocktail dress for Miss Piggy, one of the stars of Jim Henson's Muppets (now owned, of course, by Disney).

A Huffington Post review of the episode suggests that the contestants were excited to get the chance to design an outfit for the characterful puppet, supposedly to wear to promote her new movie. The winner of this particular episode was Michael, whose black dress had a prominent zipper down the back. Miss Piggy's response to the design was "I love the dress. It looks like a present!" She was equally complimentary about Rami's dress, which she describes as looking "like a candy store exploded." Which, in the world of Miss Piggy, is a compliment. She was less impressed, however, with Mila's retro black and white number, saying "It just doesn't scream Miss Piggy."

The Muppets movie was released at the tail-end of 2011 in the States, but is due for release next month in the UK. The film sees Amy Adams and Jason Segel star alongside such classic Muppets characters as Miss Piggy, Kermit and Fozzie Bear. The film has been well received in the States, with a 96% score rated on the Rotten Tomatoes review site.
