U.S. model Lisa D'amato has undergone extensive cosmetic surgery on her face after smashing her nose in a hotel prank.
The America's Next Top Model star was messing around in Colorado, where she was shooting new film Cowboys & Indians, when she took a nasty tumble that left her with a broken nose and injuries to her forehead, lips and chin.
The 32-year-old posted graphic photos of her swollen face on her Facebook and Instagram pages last week (ends18Jan13), insisting, "It was a totally freak accident."
But she's laughing off her injuries, insisting it was time to fix her features anyway.
She tells People.com, "I didn't have the best nose in the world to begin with. It gave me character. Now I have a nice little nose job. I get a super cute nose."
She also tried to cheer everyone else up in hospital: "Everyone seemed so sad."
