Artists including Madness, Dodgy and Gallows have all been forced to cancel gigs in Britain on Friday night (03Dec10) as heavy snow continues to cripple the country.
The U.K. has suffered severe snowstorms over the last week, with public transport grinding to a halt and roads blocked by icy downpours.
The Scissor Sisters called off a planned gig in Brighton, England on Thursday (02Dec10) as a result of the harsh weather conditions, and now a number of other bands have been forced to follow suit.
Veteran ska band Madness axed a gig at the Hull Arena in Hull, England on Friday night (03Dec10), while Dodgy's concert in Stirling, Scotland fell foul of the icy conditions. The rockers have also cancelled two more shows in Scotland over the weekend (04-05Dec10).
Punk band Gallows scrapped their performance in Hastings, south England because of the snow, while The Vaccines' show in Stoke-on-Trent, England on Saturday (04Dec10) has also been pulled.
