Movies And Books Give One Another A Lift
There's nothing like a best-selling book to produce a hit movie -- and vice versa. Currently the No. 1 movie is Think Like a Man, based on Steve Harvey's advice book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man , which topped the best-seller lists in 2009. With the movie cleaning up at the box office, the paperback version of the book, bannered "Now a Major Motion Picture," has risen to No. 40 on the best-seller list. Meanwhile, Hunger Games , which just got knocked out of the No. 1 spot at the box office after four weeks in the top position, also got knocked out of that spot on the best-seller list where it had nested for 16 weeks. Nevertheless, the trilogy, along with its boxed set, still occupies four positions on the top-ten list, and publisher Scholastic reports that 36.5 million copies are in print.
