Mumford & Sons have confirmed they will make their live return following bassist Ted Dwane's recent brain surgery at this weekend's (28-30Jun13) Glastonbury festival in England.

The musician underwent an emergency operation to remove a blood clot two weeks ago, prompting the band to scrap a series of shows including an appearance at the Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee.

However, keyboard player Ben Lovett tells the Radio Times that his bandmate is "going to be Ok" and the group will be honouring its commitment to headline at Glastonbury.

He says, "We're going to get back out on that stage at Glastonbury as four brothers and do what we do."

The folk-rock act will close the festival's main stage on Sunday (30Jun13).

The Rolling Stones and Arctic Monkeys are also billed to headline the Somerset event.

Earlier on Monday (24Jun13), the bandmates announced rescheduled dates for the concerts they were forced to miss.
