Music producer Muff Murfin chased a burglar naked along a street after he awoke to find the raider ransacking his house.
The 70-year-old record boss, who has worked with stars including Led Zeppelin and Ozzy Osbourne, woke in the middle of the night and discovered Steven Baird stealing from his home in Worcestershire, England in October (11).
Murfin chased after the 34 year old, who subsequently dropped a bag full of looted goods, including a laptop and an iPhone.
Murfin says, "I jumped out of bed and saw the rooms had been untidily searched. I then saw this man outside our bedroom. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was 'looking'. I instinctively ran after him. I didn't have any clothes on but just wanted to catch him."
He tells the Daily Express, "The impact of this burglary has been devastating. We have never locked the doors to our home because it is one of those places where everyone knows each other. It's a special village where crime doesn't exist. My wife is very traumatised. She doesn't want to live here anymore."
Baird, who was arrested just hours after Murfin discovered him in his house, was jailed for four and a half years after admitting burglary and cannabis possession.
