British singer TULISA CONTOSTAVLOS fears she'll be killed by jealous peers every time she returns to her tough London neighbourhood.
The only-female star of U.K. rap trio N-Dubz grew up in an impoverished area in the north of the British capital, and admits her band's success has not been well-received by her former neighbours.
She tells Britain's News of the World, "People in our area would love to murder me. I get death threats on a daily basis. It's that mentality of where we are from.
"If I step into any hood, it feels like the whole world wants to kill me."
And Contostavlos reveals she has boosted her security to ensure her safety: "I'm vulnerable so I've got security to protect me."
