No More Long Trips For Lilyby Contributor | 04 July 2007
Lily Allen has said she will not be taking any more long trips away from home in the future after touring her first album around the world.
The popstar axed some of her US tour dates earlier this year and has now said she will mix her trips away with short stays back in England.
At the time of her mammoth North American tour, Allen said she was "tired" and was not giving her best performances.
She was quoted by ITV News as saying: "I'm not going away for such long spells. I'm just going to go away then come back, go away and come back."
The star was selected to perform at the Concert for Diana event last weekend and performed her hit singles LDN and Smile in front of a global audience of millions.
Allen finished the evening by nipping out afterwards for a curry, "because they do the best ones in Wembley", she said.
The 22-year-old attended the premiere of the latest Harry Potter movie in Leicester Square last night as her fans look forward to her new material which she has been working on while throughout her tour.
Her debut album, Alright, Still, was a huge success and saw Allen nominated for a host of Brit Awards.
