Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile has been fined $335 (£209) following his conviction for misdemeanour assault.

The 25 year old was detained by police in Bowling Green, Ohio in the early hours of the morning on 30 March (13) after he and the band's drum technician, Lionel Robinson Ii, were involved in a fight with another party.

Carlile was arraigned on a felony assault charge and released on $25,000 (£15,625) bail, but, on Monday (29Apr13), the count was reduced to a lesser offence by U.S. Judge Mark B. Reddin, who handed down the rocker's punishment.
