West End stage show One Man, Two Guvnors was halted last week (ends03Mar13) when a castmember fell off the stage during the production.
British actor/comedian Rufus Hound, who took over the lead role from James Corden, had to keep the audience at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket entertained for 10 minutes after a female colleague took a tumble and injured her ankle.
Hound cracked jokes during the break, while medics tended to the injured actress.
A source tells Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper, "Rufus cracked the old gag, 'Two monkeys in a bathroom. One is in the bath and says, 'ooh ooh, aah aah'. The other replies, 'add cold water'. He got very few laughs."
The show resumed after the interruption.
