Janet Jackson is helping to raise money for a hunger charity in Los Angeles - a doll in her likeness has been put up for sale in an online auction.
The superstar allowed Mattel toy manufacturers to immortalise her appearance on U.S. reality show American Idol earlier this year (10) in plastic, complete with a replica of her designer black and red gown.
Only one Divinely Janet Barbie doll was made and the unique item, valued at $15,000 (£10,000) is now up for sale to benefit Project Angel Food, which delivers meals to Los Angeles-area families affected by terminal illnesses.
Bids on the one-of-a-kind doll stood at $2,800 (£1,867) on CharityBuzz.com as WENN went to press and fans have until 15 December (10) to enter the auction.
