Orla Kiely has created a second high street collection for Uniqlo.

The designer will follow up her hugely successful debut for the Japanese chain - which mainly focused on T-shirts and sold out within four hours - with a line featuring dresses, shirts, hoodies and scarves.

Orla told vogue.co.uk: ''After such a successful collection for spring/summer 2012, I was really happy to do another collection with Uniqlo. I really admire their philosophy and classic style, but also their attention to good quality materials. The price is great and it definitely feels like the less- is-more approach to styling, which is very modern. I love the Japanese aesthetic and so it has been great collaborating with such a popular and cool brand.''

She will launch the collection during Vogue's Fashion's Night Out in London on September 6 and customers will also be treated to a complimentary limited edition tote bag when they purchase two products.

Orla - whose designs have been worn by Duchess Catherine - added: ''I was excited about doing a collection for autumn/winter 2012-13 this time, as I wanted it to feel very different to the last season. We were really keen to introduce some new shapes that had a Sixties vibe, yet were still in keeping with the Uniqlo aesthetic. I think they look great.''
