The first screening of Al Pacino's new movie THE SON OF NO ONE was marred by a number of walkouts at a preview for Hollywood executives on Monday (24Jan11).
The gritty crime drama, starring Pacino, Channing Tatum, Ray Liotta and Katie Holmes, received a lukewarm response from the audience at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The publication reports "a stream" of movie studio bosses walked out before the credits rolled, while one fan's attempts to lead a round of applause at the end of the film did not catch on.
The movie, about a young cop with a dark secret, has been picked to close the festival on Friday (28Jan11).
