The producer of Oscar-winning animated movie Paperman was escorted out of the Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday (24Feb13) after celebrating the film's win by throwing paper airplanes into the crowd.
The black-and-white Disney movie was awarded the Best Animated Short Film prize and producer Christina Reed couldn't contain her excitement, releasing four home-made airplanes with kisses on them from her seat in the mezzanine.
The celebration was in honour of a similar scene in the short film, but security personnel did not get the connection and removed her from the prizegiving at the Dolby Theatre auditorium in Los Angeles.
She was escorted back to her seat after several minutes of arguing her case to security bosses, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
