Rap sensation Soulja Boy has turned his home into a armed fortress full of pistol-toting bodyguards after he was robbed at gunpoint in December (08).
The Crank That (Soulja Boy) hitmaker, real name DeAndre Ramone Way, was targetted by thieves just before the New Year when a group of masked men raided his Georgia home and held the star and his pals at gunpoint.
Way escaped unharmed but admits the terrifying incident has left him shaken and paranoid - and now he never feels completely safe unless he has a gun with him.
He tells PopEater.com, "It made me change precautions in my security now. I keep a pistol in every room now. My bodyguards stay strapped now."
And Soulja Boy will be opening up about the life-changing experience on his forthcoming album, The DeAndre Way: "My third album goes real deep. I'll go more in depth with what went on in the house that night on this album."
