Trained pet detectives are on the hunt for Jessica Simpson's snatched dog, after offering their services to the star for free.
A coyote ran off with the singer's pet, Daisy, while the mutt was exercising outside her Los Angeles home on Monday (14Sep09).
The singer immediately turned to Twitter.com in a desperate bid for help, but now professional pet finders at FindToto.com have stepped in to join the search.
Simpson is now working closely with the trackers, according to company boss Colleen Busch.
She tells UsMagazine.com, "We're kind of an amber alert for missing pets. We took the address of where Daisy went missing and we used that as a bullseye. We called 1,000 neighbours in the surrounding area and sent out a 30-second message with details about Daisy and her disappearance, and details on how to get in touch with Jessica's assistant."
Busch - whose firm helped model Alessandra Ambrosio find her missing dog - is asking Simpson's neighbours to "check their back yard, check under their deck", claiming there's a good chance Daisy has been abandoned by the coyote and is lying injured.
