Pete Doherty is to perform a Michael Jackson song in tribute to the late star at a concert next month.

The Babyshambles frontman is to play a rendition of 'Human Nature', a ballad from Michael's 1982 album 'Thriller', at the 'David Gest... My Life' concert in London on October 14.

The show is being put together by producer Gest - who was a close friend of Jackson's - and has described Doherty's inclusion as "the icing on the cake".

While the 'David Gest... My Life' show will be touring the UK throughout October, it is believed Pete will only perform at the London date.

Other acts performing include Tess Tickle Dancers, Little People of Davidland and Chinese Girls With Herpes, alongside well known musicians including The Stylistics.

As well as being friends with Jackson, Gest has also befriended troubled singer Amy Winehouse since she returned to the UK earlier this year - although it is not thought she will be part of the tour.

Meanwhile, Joe Jackson has called for "justice" for his son, after authorities ruled his death a homicide.

The pop icon's death was ruled to have been caused by acute Propofol intoxication - heightening the likelihood of arrests made in connection with his death.

Joe said: "I'm not angry. I'm mad, because I didn't know all this was going on. Someone should pay. Not just someone but all of them should pay that's involved."
