Former Cake drummer Peter Mcneal has been convicted on charges of child molestation.

The rocker was hit with one count of felony oral copulation and sexual penetration of a child under the age of 10 after he was accused of forcibly touching a three-year-old girl during a 2009 Thanksgiving party in Los Angeles.

The case went to trial last year (12), with the child's mother taking the witness stand to testify on her young daughter's behalf.

She told the court her daughter had asked, "Why did that man want to put his p**is in my mouth?"

A mistrial was declared but the case was recently re-tried, and on Monday (18Mar13) the 46 year old was held without bail, according to LAist.com.

MCNeal, who was previously placed on three years probation for molesting a six-year-old girl, while volunteering at a school in 2009, is due to be sentenced on 25 April (13).
