Jim Belushi's trip to Las Vegas got off to a bad start on Sunday (28Mar10) after a mid-air argument with a flight attendant prompted the pilot to call police.
The funnyman was said to have angrily ranted at an American Airlines staff member who tried to wake him from a nap as their flight from Los Angeles began its descent towards in Sin City.
The captain subsequently phoned the tower and requested authorities to meet Belushi at the gate but cops concluded no crime had been committed and let the star go.
His rep tells TMZ.com, "American Airlines could not have handled the situation better to ensure his safety. Next time he wants to take a 40-minute nap, he'll be booking American Airlines."
