Sorry, Chris, but you simply "don't get it"! Why you think it's perfectly fine to DUMP your elderly kitty because she is incontinent is selfish and arrogant! You adopt a pet, whether its a cat or dog for LIFE, it's LIFE..You commit to that. You don't give them away because they become a nuisance, or your upcoming wedding is more important, your Pug dogs are too active for her, etc. What happens when one of your dogs becomes incontinent too? that COULD happen of course? Will you then dump them? or keep them because they are dogs vs a cat? Cats are not disposable creatures, they deserve loyalty, love, protection for their lifetimes with us..You have FAILED in this arena...Shame on you for NOT getting this..You don't realize the stress you have caused when you dumped your cat, even if you believe you have found a good home! Elderly cats, especially, get stressed, depressed and are bonded with you for ??how many years..To be displaced like this is unfair and cold.....wake up and don't adopt any more cats in the future, please...you need to grow up!! You set a poor example for what a true pet owner SHOULD be!
