It turns out that pregnant Adele is actually very pregnant Adele! The singer announced that she was expecting her first child last month, though it seems the British songstress has been living like a hermit for the past seven months.
Adele suffered vocal problems forcing her to cancel all live dates at the end of 2011, and it seems her lack of public appearances have enabled her to keep her pregnancy a secret from the media. A source told heatworld.com that Adele is due to give birth in just two months (September 2012), saying, "Adele has barely left the house in recent months, so she could keep this to herself for as long as possible. She stopped exercising a few months ago, and since then it's been all about the baby". Last month, Adele, 24, told fans that she and boyfriend Simon Konecki were "over the moon" to be expecting their first child, telling fans, "I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."
The singer - who essentially propped up the music industry in 2011 with her huge selling album '21' - has also recorded a new album, of sorts. A source told the UK's Sun newspaper that Adele has recorded a series of nursery rhymes, which she then plays to her bump. The insider added, "It's so Adele can get her voice as close as possible to the baby so it can hear as many soothing sounds as possible".
