Primal Scream - Primal Scream Face 'Fines' For Gig Passes
Rockers Primal Scream made no money during their 1990s heyday - because they let too many fans and friends in to their concerts for free.
The Come Together hitmakers became notorious for their swollen guestlists at shows, and promoters of their upcoming gigs this year (11) have threatened to fine the band $60 (£40) for every extra pass they hand out.
But the British rockers are glad gig organisers took the unusual step - because their profits will increase as a result.
Frontman Bobby Gillespie tells Q magazine, "We used to just let everybody in on the guestlist," and bassist Gary Mounfield adds, "But that is why we're f**king skint and every other c**t's got houses in f**king France."
