Hip-hop producer Bangladesh has settled a legal dispute with Lil Wayne over allegations of unpaid royalties.
The beatmaker, real name Shondrae Crawford, filed a $500,000 (£312,500) lawsuit against the rapper and his bosses at Cash Money Records in 2010, accusing them of failing to adequately compensate him for his work on 2007 track A Milli.
Wayne's mentor and label co-founder Bryan 'Baby' Williams dismissed Crawford's claims, blaming him for causing the label more headaches after they were sued for copyright infringement stemming from a track the producer used on A Milli.
That legal action has since been resolved and now Bangladesh reveals he has put his differences with Wayne and Williams behind him and is working with Cash Money Records once again.
He tells MTV, "We just did some nice business together. They just bought a whole bunch of tracks...
"Everybody respects each other, real recognises real. At the end of the day, the work is solid so everybody wants to work with everybody else. We resolved the issues so it was time to move on past that and do other business."
And Bangladesh is proud of how the two parties have handled the fall out and subsequent reconciliation.
He adds, "I think it's really big, it's a big step 'cause it went from negative to positive so you can show people that you can always work things out and move on from it. It's better to work with each other man, especially as black folks, it's always good to stick together and spread the love."
