Rapper The Game has been hit with a lawsuit amid allegations he failed to pay producer Infamous for the use of a recent track.
Infamous, real name Marco Rodriguez, claims he sent the song to The Game in 2010 but it went unused until earlier this year (12), when the tune appeared as Skate On on the star's mixtape California Republic.
Rodriguez sent a letter to the musician in April (12) to try and claim earnings for the use of his music, but his message has not been acknowledged and now the producer is taking legal action.
In papers filed in California, Infamous states he usually charges between $20,000 (£12,700) and $25,000 (£16,000) per song but is suing the rapper for damages in excess of $100,000 (£64,000), according to Tmz.com.
The Game's mixtape was released online for free.
