Grammy Award-winning producers THE TRAK STARZ have pleaded guilty to a series of charges after failing to file income tax returns.
Shamar Daugherty and Alonzo Lee, who have worked with artists including Britney Spears, Usher and the Pussycat Dolls, were accused of failing to pay tax on earnings of more than $4.8 million (£3.2 million) between 2003 and 2005.
The Missouri-based stars both pleaded guilty to multiple charges of failing to file income tax returns. Each count carries a possible jail term of up to a year in prison and $25,000 (£16,700) in fines.
They will both have to file delinquent tax returns through until 2009 and Lee will have to pay back $144,000 (£96,000), while Daugherty owes more than $256,000 (£170,667).
Lee will be back in court for sentencing on 30 September (10) and Daugherty will be handed his punishment on 5 November (10).
