U.S. punk icon Tony Sly has died, aged 41.
The singer/guitarist joined No Use for a Name in the late 1980s and became a staple in the 1990s punk scene.
He recorded eight albums with the band and released a handful of solo albums.
Sly was making plans to record a new album at the time of his death, according to website Spinner.com.
A cause of death had yet to be released as WENN went to press.
