Raf Simons has collaborated with Adidas to create a footwear collection.

The Belgian fashion designer debuted the limited-edition trainers with the sportswear brand at his autumn/winter 2013-14 catwalk show as part of menswear fashion week in Paris, France, on Wednesday night (16.01.13) and announced the shoes will be available in stores from July.

Fashionista reports Raf's retro-inspired trainers have five different models in a variety of colours, taking inspiration from ''signature Adidas high-end performance and running silhouettes.''

The exterior of the trainers are all-black and multi-coloured silicone bubbles in rose, green, blue or burgundy are used to accentuate the shape of the shoe by creating visual depths.

Raf - who is currently Creative Director of Christian Dior - isn't the first designer to team up with the sportswear giant.

Other brands including Stella Mccartney, Opening Ceremony and Yohji Yamamoto have previously teamed up with Adidas to develop sportswear and exercise accessories.

Raf launched his own menswear line in 1995 and has since collaborated with other brands such as Fred Perry and French bag manufacture Eastpak.
